Carnifex Tyranids Rules

Carnifex (Solo Variant)

Profile:

Wargear:

  1. Monstrous Scything Talons (Pair)

    • Type: Melee
    • S: User
    • AP: -3
    • Damage: 3
    • Special: Reroll hit rolls of 1.
  2. Heavy Venom Cannon

    • Type: Assault 1
    • Range: 36"
    • S: 9
    • AP: -2
    • Damage: D3
    • Special: Blast (causes D3 extra hits on units with more than 5 models).

Special Rules:

  1. Fearless:
    The Carnifex automatically passes any Leadership tests.

  2. Living Battering Ram:
    When charging, the Carnifex inflicts an additional D3 attacks. These attacks are made at S6, AP-1, and deal 1 damage each.

  3. Terror of the Enemies:
    Enemy units within 12" of the Carnifex suffer a -1 penalty to their Leadership.

  4. Solitary Predator:
    The Carnifex gains the following bonuses while acting alone on the battlefield (no friendly units within 6”):

    • Reroll all hit rolls in melee.
    • Gains +1 to its Armor Save.
  5. Horned Tail Swipe:
    If an enemy unit is within the Carnifex's rear arc (180° behind the model) in the Fight phase, the Carnifex can make an additional attack using the following profile:

    • Type: Melee
    • S: User (S6)
    • AP: -1
    • Damage: 1
    • Special: This attack can only be made if the enemy unit is within the rear arc.
  6. Lone Hunter:
    The Carnifex does not suffer penalties for being the only unit on the battlefield. Instead, it gains Lone Hunter, granting the Carnifex a +1 bonus to all saving throws (including invulnerable saves, if applicable) and +1 to its Attack characteristic.
